Charles A. Landers is Vice President of Signature Financial Services. Mr. Landers is licensed as a General Securities Representative (Series #7), Investment Advisor Representative (Series #65), Registered Principal (Series #24), He has also earned the following professional designations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS).
Prior to joining Signature Advisors Group, Mr. Landers practiced in the areas of estate and financial planning, restricting his practice to the owners of closely-held and family controlled businesses.
A recognized authority on the tax and estate planning concerns facing the agribusiness industry, Mr. Landers has addressed numerous professional and business organizations, including the Illinois CPA Society and Central Illinois Family Business forum, on the topics of estate planning, business valuation, and family business dynamics. His articles have appeared in various publications.
Active in numerous professional organizations, Mr. Landers was a founder and director of the Central Illinois Family Business Forum sponsored by Southern Illinois University. He has served as President, Executive Committee Chairman, and Fundraising Chairman of his local YMCA. Mr. Landers received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois. As well, he is a past Illinois Connection Ambassador, an advocacy network for the University of Illinois.
